Assisted CCS venture to develop the commercial business case, establish the formal Joint Venture, negotiate off-take agreements, economic analysis and develop commercialisation strategy. 

 

Lithium

Engaged by  MD and Board to independently review strategic plan. Completed a “deep dive” of the industry’s value chain and a review of the broader developments in the supply and demand side of the industry to deliver a revised strategic business plan.

 

Carbon Offset 

Provided valuation and strategic advice to Board in relation to corporate proposals that were presented to the Company.

 

Renewables

Advised group with a deep pipeline of energy transition clients in the Resources sector on establishment of an energy transition investment fund . Clarified pathway and managed negotiations with key strategic investment partners representing some of Australia’s largest institutional funds.

Coal

Board representative on major Hunter Valley – NSW coal mine, representing Asian investment firm’s interest at a time where the project expanded its operations from a open cut to underground mine.  

 

LNG

Provided commercial due diligence services to Japanese client in relation to a Middle East LNG investment

 

China JV 

Managed process and led commercial discussions with a range of potential strategic partners on behalf of client seeking a Chinese Joint Venture partner for their US Gulf Coast development.

 

JV Access Agreements

Adviser to resource client on commercial contracts relating to infrastructure, processing and logistics access agreements for their mineral sands project in West Australia.

 

Strategic Government Support

Negotiated >$A100 Million investment grant from the Australian Federal Government under its Strategic Investment scheme to support development of new resources project in Northwest Australia.

Oakajee Port and Rail

Commercial advisor to OPR Joint Venture partner. Managed negotiations of key commercial rail and port services agreements, Joint Venture agreements and project finance discussions.

 

NorthWest Infrastructure JV

Lead commercial evaluation and discussions on behalf of NWI in relation to the proposed port and rail development to underpin new Iron Ore developments in the Pilbarra.
